Glass Tea Infuser

This tea lives in the liminal space. A space between worlds. It doesn’t fit into any category. Its leaves are dried under the moon. It is aged, yet it holds beauty. It is grown in the province of puer teas and pressed into a tea cake like a puer tea, yet it is a white tea. A perfect misfit.

This aged Moon Beauty White Tea is a rare type of white tea from the Anshi Village, one of the oldest tea villages in Yunnan Province of China. It is harvested in early spring, where the tenderest tea leaves are picked. The name Moon Beauty comes from its unique appearance — silver-white buds and darker leaves resembling the bright moon shining against a night sky. Poetry throughout this tea.

It tastes soft, sweet and thick with delicate and complex flavours. Because of its aged fermentation this tea does not taste very bitter as many white or green teas do. It can withstand a higher water temperature and can brew many, many times. You feel gentle power rolling through you - alert, focused, yet gentle and heart centered. Plus all those delicious health benefits that white tea offers. This tea is best to drink during the day when you want to get deep, focused and drawn into your work, craft, or ideas.
