Balinese Biodynamic Rose Petals
Balinese Biodynamic Rose Petals
Rose petals have their place in history. These dried petals have been cultivated for over 5000 years in ancient civilizations of China, Egypt, and Rome. They valued the roses for their various uses like soothing the mind, beauty, and medicinal properties.
This Balinese rose petal tea has a sweet, floral fragrance that fills the room, well at least your nose. Like thick dusty flowers, it is slightly sweet with stone fruit and earthy undertones and has an astringent (bitter + acidic) quality. This tea is grown by a women collective of farmers. It is said that the energy of the rose is one that holds the yin, or feminine energy. It feels amplified, perhaps because of the farmers' strong feminine energy, or the biodynamic environment it is cultivated in. This is a beautiful tea to feel into yourself. Perfect hot or cold.
